Flea
This is Flea. I believe he was severely abused. When we
found him, he had a horrible wound on his head and appeared to be only around 6
weeks old. I did not expect him to survive and at first he would not let us
catch him. He’s been here around 2 months and is now a very loving but wary
soul. His head has healed up a great deal but not healing completely so that I
believe there’s something in it. He needs to have his wound treated, be
neutered and have a rabies shot. Once he’s fully recovered he will be up for
adoption.
Fox
This is Fox, He’s a terrier mix lost or dumped here some
months ago. I believe he was very loved by someone at some point in his life. I
listed him to see if he had been lost but no one came forward. It’s hard to
tell in the photos but his ears are ragged with flaps hanging loose. They have
been ripped off. They were slightly healed when he came here and much improved
now with herbal treatment. He needs the flaps trimmed up. Also hard to see, he
has malformed back paws, which cause him no trouble except that his claws grow
into his pads. He’s very sensitive to clipping them and need to have some (if
not all) of his back claws removed. He’s been neutered but will also need a
rabies shot. Fox will spend the rest of his life here.
